Roger Moore’s final Bond outing is ridden with bullet holes and clichés but still packs a punch thanks to the aplomb of the man himself (even if he is 58) and two memorable bad guys in Christopher Walken and Grace Jones. Bond’s mission this time is to investigate into the affairs of an elusive billionaire who plans to blow up Silicon Valley, boosting his own fortune in the process. A neat pre-credits sequence, chart-topping theme song, thumping musical score and literally sky-high climax help Moore to finally hung up his tux.
