Quite simply one of the best movies ever made. Francis Ford Copolla brings Mario Puzo’s novel to the screen with breathtaking expertise, conviction and power. Marlon Brando gives possibly the greatest performance in cinema history as the ageing Don Corleone who reluctantly sees his crime enterprise inherited by his war hero son Michael (Al Pacino). A virtually perfect film.
